The Dior Nude Tan BB Cream is not a product I've always got on with. Colour wise, it's the strangest shade of orange and is really quite difficult to blend into the skin. It has a tendency to settle in the place you first apply it and then refuses to budge. I remember turning up to work an embarrassingly bright shade of orange and getting all sorts of strange looks from customers. I vowed never to use it again after that shift! What I've realised since is that a little really does go a long way, one pump can cover the whole face and it does give your complexion a nice subtle glow when you haven't over-applied. I'll definitely be working this BB Cream back into my Summer routine.
Benefit's They're Real mascara and Erase Paste are absolute no-brainers for me. I've been using these products for years and they've yet to let me down. On an otherwise light coverage day, I tend to make up for it with lashings of mascara. A little eyeliner in the waterline and a smudge of concealer under the eye just makes me look that little bit more awake. Maxfactor's Creme Puff Blush in 'Lavish Mauve' is my favourite shade of the moment - this dusty pink is the 'your cheeks but better' colour and is so perfectly subtle.
I can't get enough of EOS lipbalms at the moment, I picked up this limited edition Passionfruit balm in Urban Outfitters a few months ago and its fast become a favourite. The best thing about these balms is that they're incredibly moisturising without verging on greasy. I've been a convert for a good two years and have tried and tested a fair few of the range. 'Sweet Mint' will always be my favourite, but 'Passionfruit' is a fun alternative. I always make sure to use these balms before applying lipstick - they almost work as a primer as they soften the lips and combat any dryness. Their unique packaging also means you can apply the product effectively and apply the balm in the creases of your lips. For a lazy day, EOS balms are perfect.
So there you have it! My non-make-up, make-up look, for days when you're not quite ready to go barefaced. Think of it as the Lazy Sunday pick-me-up.
